21 - 24 May, Reykjavík, Iceland

The TERENA Networking Conference (TNC) is the largest and most prestigious European research networking conference - over 500 participants including decision makers, networking specialists and managers from all major European networking and research organisations, universities, worldwide sister institutions and industry representatives attend.

This event comprises a collaboration between EGI and SHIWA for the conduct of two linked workshops about workflows in e-Science. It is anticipated that there is sufficient commonality in the attendance at each of the two workshops for them to be run 'back to back’ and thereby for each to benefit from enhanced attendance and greater impact.

This workshop is split into two parts. The first part allows the user communities to identify the key services they need and how they expect them to be sustained. If not sustained by themselves, what is the business case for the e-infrastructure provider (or other entity) to sustain them? The second half of the workshop brings in other sustainability issues from the e-infrastructure and technology providers to consider the sustainability of the EGI ecosystem as a whole.
